We feel great sadness at the loss of a member of our Rige family. Mark Villanueva aka Mark V, together with Poogie Bear was one of the legendary producers who have almost single-handedly changed an entire genre.

Cranking out hit after hit, with such releases as "WAR", "THIS IS LOS ANGELES", "STOMP", "FEEL MY BEAT", "STOMPIN GROUNDS", "HAPPY TOGETHER", ANTS IN MY PANTS” and many, many others, these two have defined the term "Hard House".

Having worked with such prominent labels as Underground Construction, Abstract Music, Greedy Records, Groove Nation, Wiggle Records, Tommy Boy, Jasper Stone, Blanco Y Negro, Contrasena Hardcore Records, Metallix, Hallucin8Trax and Resistance Recordings.

Mark V & Poogie Bear are also accomplished and well traveled DJ's, having played in such worldwide locations as The Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Brasil, Mexico, as well as all across the U.S.
